Dr. Marie Mae Martinez is from Cebu City, Philippines. She attended the Cebu Institute of Medicine. She then moved to Corpus Christi, Texas for her residency program before becoming a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician.

Dr. Martinez’s dream to become a physician started at a very young age. Growing up she was surrounded by physicians. Her grandparents built a clinic right next to their ancestral home where their neighbors would go seek free medical and minor surgical assistance. This time had a profound impact and propelled her journey into medicine. Dr. Martinez enjoys creating memorable patient relationships and appreciates the chance to help.

When not treating patients, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. She also likes to travel and try out new cuisines. Reading books, watching movies and interior design are also some of her hobbies.
